Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on www.supertramp.co.uk and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

In short

  • We use necessary cookies to make the site work, such as keeping items in your basket and keeping checkout secure.
  • We only use analytics and advertising cookies if you accept them.
  • You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to give the website owner information about how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in a similar way, and we refer to all of them as “cookies” on this page.

2. The cookies we use

Necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the website to work. They let you add items to your basket, sign in to your account, check out securely and remember your cookie choices. Because the site cannot work properly without them, they do not need your consent. You can block them in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as checkout, may then stop working.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

These cookies help us understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are most popular and how people find us, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4. The information is collected in a way that does not tell us who you are.

Cookie What it does How long
_ga Google Analytics. Distinguishes one visitor from another Up to 13 months
_ga_<ID> Google Analytics. Keeps track of your visit (session) Up to 13 months

Advertising cookies (only with your consent)

These cookies help us measure how well our adverts on Google, Facebook and Instagram work, for example whether someone who clicked an advert went on to place an order, and let us show relevant adverts to people who have visited our site.

Cookie What it does How long
_fbp Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel. Measures how effective our adverts are and helps show our adverts to people who have visited our site 3 months
_gcl_au Google Ads. Measures how effective our adverts are 3 months
Other Google and Meta advertising cookies Set by Google or Meta to measure advert performance and limit how often you see the same advert Up to 13 months

Third-party content

Some pages show content from other companies, such as Trustpilot reviews and YouTube videos. These companies may set their own cookies when their content loads or when you interact with it, for example by pressing play on a video. Where possible, we embed YouTube videos using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. For more information, see YouTube's privacy information and Trustpilot's cookie policy.

If you choose to take part in Google Customer Reviews when you place an order, a script from Google loads on the order confirmation page to show you the opt-in. Google may set its own cookies when this happens. Google then acts as a separate controller of the survey information, under Google's privacy policy.

When you first visit our website, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies. We will not set analytics or advertising cookies unless you accept them.

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link (“Manage Website Data Collection Preferences”) at the bottom of every page.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting cookies already set. To find out more, visit www.aboutcookies.org. To opt out of Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

4. Changes to this page
